Our advanced bond technology provides long product life while an aluminum oxide and silicon carbide abrasive grain mix performs well with burn-in / burn-on sand and the other foundry cleaning room applications. The high friability and sharpness of the silicon carbide grain makes it an ideal additive in this AO cup for hard-to-grind materials.

The The type 11 flared shape features a flat grinding surface, making them ideal for heavy metal removal, grinding, transitioning, rough beveling, and removing cracks and flaws. A wide 1.5 inch rim provides a large grinding zone to minimize grind time. The 5/8-11 inch arbor is designed for use on right angle die grinders, high-frequency grinders, and right angle grinders.
