Our advanced bond technology provides long product life while sharp and durable zirconia and silicon carbide abrasive grain mix performs exceptionally well with burn-in / burn-on sand and the most challenging foundry cleaning room applications. The high friability and sharpness of the silicon carbide grain makes it an ideal additive in this Zirc cup for hard-to-grind materials.

The type 11 flared shape features a flat grinding surface, making them ideal for heavy metal removal, grinding, transitioning, rough beveling, and removing cracks and flaws. A wide 1.5 inch rim provides a large grinding zone to minimize grinding time and a 5/8-11 inch arbor allows for quick spin-on, spin-off product changeover.

Specifically designed with performance and versatility in mind, Tiger Zirc cup rocks are designed for use on medium to high power pneumatic and high frequency electric grinders. These abrasives are ideal for a wide range of metals often used on cast metals.
