The Bosch HD18-2 2-speed hammer drill is just as fast as competitive options, but weighs only 5.8 pounds thanks to its powerful 8.5 amp motor.
This drill offers high torque and high speed to meet widest range of applications in concrete, masonry, wood and metal. First gear is for high-torque applications and the second speed is for high-speed drilling. Rotating brush plates provide equal power in reverse to easily back out bound-up bits. A metal gear housing protects the motor for long life and rugged job site durability. Bosch HD18-2 offers enough power for metal-cutting hole saw applications and enough torque for some mud-mixing jobs.
